Silver Spoon brings together Angelo’s culinary expertise and Chantelle’s flair for organisation, planning and bringing ideas to life. Based in the Western Cape, we work with hospitality businesses and private clients across South Africa.
We met while working at the same restaurant in the Winelands. Over the months, a strong working relationship grew into a shared ambition: to build something of our own and create unforgettable culinary experiences.
The idea took shape on a drive to collect items from a supplier. Chantelle suggested that Angelo turn his talent into a professional recipe and menu development service. Angelo loved the idea—and saw Chantelle as the person to lead the planning, marketing and business operations that would bring it together.
That conversation became Silver Spoon: two complementary skill sets, one vision, and a commitment to considering every detail, from the first brief to the final plate.
Angelo is the chef behind Silver Spoon’s recipes, menu development, costings and tastings. As our culinary lead, he provides culinary expertise and delivers the services at the heart of each project.
Chantelle leads marketing, bookings, client liaison, administration, website management and project planning. Her practical, organised approach connects the creative vision with the practical details of a well-managed experience.
Our perspective on food, hospitality and the work behind a considered culinary experience. A place for industry insights, reflections and updates as Silver Spoon grows.
One supplier run. Two complementary strengths. A shared ambition to create something of our own. This is where our story begins.
